Personal Description

Sean Zaccheo has been studying film making from both a technical and artistic aspect since he was nine years of age. He has been working professionally since age sixteen, and has also worked on many student projects as well. Sean started out creating smaller projects on his own as a producer and director in order to establish a strong foundation of experience. As this experience grew, so did his crew size and equipment. What began as ten person crews and a pick-up truck soon expanded to thirty person crews and ten ton grip trucks to help with his productions.

From a professional standpoint, Sean began as a Key Grip on the feature film “The Diet Life." He then began working as a Key Grip and Grip/Electric Swing on short films, feature films, student films, and commercials. This helped his networking and provided him a better understanding of set procedures and the precision of film making. These first hand experiences helped Sean continue to grow as a producer and director of his own work. The combination of Sean's hard work, dedication, and respect has helped him land other professional opportunities through references by fellow co-workers.

In early 2007, Sean was hired to work as a grip on a short 35mm film titled “Persona." Mid-way through his first day, the production found it was short grip equipment, transportation, and extra crew. Sean was able to get them the extra equipment needed, a free truck to move the equipment, and extra labor. By the second day, Sean was promoted to Assistant Production Coordinator. Once a re-shoot was called for, he was promoted again to Unit Production Manager. For this re-shoot, Sean was able to find a five-ton grip truck with an extensive electrical package to be used. This is just one example of Sean's motivation and determination to help in any way he can in order to make sure a film is made on time, and on budget. On his own productions, Sean has yet to go past his schedule and always stays within his budget.

Sean was born in Los Angeles, CA, but has spent a significant amount of his life in New York as well. He currently resides and works in the Los Angeles area.

Zaccheo Films was started as a basis for his work. Sean wishes to share all of his work with the world. He has an intense passion for helping others in attempts to make their dreams a reality. Sean provides support in all stages of film production. According to Sean, "I am happy with what I do, and I will die doing it. It is my passion, my dream, my life."
