Tami's directing experience starts with over 7 years of experience in speech and debate, public platform speaking and oral interpretation. At Moorpark College, she finished as the 2nd best speaker in the state and a national champion. She also coaches high school speech in such disciplines as voice and diction, character development, story construction and audience analysis.
Tami has studied under such industry professionals as Roy Seeger, who has worked in Sound in the industry for over 20 years, Michael Hoggan A.C.E., Joel Krantz, David Sonnenschien. Tami is well versed in Pro Tools and has a system set up of her own. She has experience working with both feature as well as documentary sound. Her approach to sound design is that of diligence and innovation.
Other activities that Tami is involved with include the nonprofit organization, Project Kindle which provides services to children infected or affected by HIV/AIDS as both a camp counselor as well as an on site videographer and documenter in Fremont, Nebraska. She produces educational shorts as part of the I Know Initiative to be viewed in high school health classes across the nation.
