Jean Ann received her B.A. in Film and Creative Writing from Hofstra University. After only her second professional audition, she was cast in Richard Maxwell's Showy Lady Slipper. Peter Marks of The New York Times called her performance "comically inspired" and TimeOut NY called the cast a group of "wonderfully adept actors". She then had the incredible opportunity to tour France and Brussels with the show, as well as a month long tour of Vienna, Berlin and Amsterdam.
When not performing, she continues to develop her craft at HB Studio where she studies acting with Austin Pendleton as well as musical theatre with Helen Gallagher. She looks forward to many new experiences and can't wait to see where this wacky but wonderful road of performing takes her.
